Tour of the town
Ebrodunum, ebro: water and dunum: elevation explaining the Celtic origins of Embrun. Learn more about Embrun, capital of the Maritime Alps under the Roman Empire and under the rule of the archbishops from the IX century. Admire the XV and XVI century frescoes in the chapels of the former Franciscan convent. Sculptures, Lombardy art, fountains, ancient doors and facades will reveal to you Embrun's rich past.

The Catheral and its Treasure
This tour will bring you into the heart of the episcopal area. Discover the history of the lives of the Archbishops thanks to architectural treasures such as the 'Tour Brune', the 'Maison des Chanonges' and of course the XII century Cathedral. Guided tour inside the Cathedral and it's treasure room.

The treasure room
Housed in the Chapel St. Francis, the treasure room holds a collection of liturgical gowns from the XV and XIX centuries, religious artefacts, gold and silver plate and works of art. A testamony to Embruns rich past.
